La Roma Restaurant

Ate here for the First Time with my Wife recently and we loved it so much we returned again on Sunday, We absolutely love Italian food and we have eaten at Italian restaurants Verona in Bury, Cotto in Whitefield, Porada in Whitefield, Italian Mia in Radcliffe, San Carlo in Manchester, Carmellos in Tottington and we have been to Rome and honestly La Roma is definitely up there as one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever eaten at. It is set in a beautiful area, The exterior and interior are beautifully decorated, The service is fantastic, The food and drink is 5 and the setting is perfect. On our First attempt to visit La Roma was a few weeks ago and we rang to book a table but unfortunately they had back to back bookings meaning we couldn't get a table which is always a good sign that a restaurant is really good. So the other week we managed to book a table for Two and parked up outside the restaurant and headed inside, We were warmly greeted by a waitress who seated us in the restaurant, A few minutes later the waitress returned to take our drinks order I opted for a pint of Poretti and my Wife opted for a large glass of Red wine . Drinks were well presented and went down a treat in the hot weather, My pint of Poretti was ice cold and crisp. The waitress returned to take our order I went for the Minestrone soup and my Wife opted for the king Prawns, The food was well presented and my Wife absolutely loved her Prawns and my Minestrone soup was fresh, home made and tasted delicious. For Mains my Wife wanted the rack of Lamb but unfortunately La Roma had sold out so she opted for the Beef stroganoff instead and I ordered Beef & Spinach Canneloni with a side order of skin on fries & onion rings, My Wife absolutely loved her Beef stroganoff the Mushrooms and mustard gravy really complimented the Beef which literally melted in your mouth, My Canneloni was delicious, Home made, fresh and I cleaned my plate. We then ordered another round of drinks and settled our bill and left, It was one of the best Italian meals we had ever had so last Sunday we decided to return to La Roma, We rang up to book a table for Two(I would recommend ringing ahead to make sure La Roma isn't fully booked), This time for starters my Wife ordered the King Prawns again and I opted for Chicken Liver pate which came with a side salad , Toasted bread and an onion chutney, My Wife again devoured her king Prawns and my Chicken Liver pate was amazing and the onion chutney really complimented the pate and toasted bread. For Mains my Wife opted for The rack of Lamb which was served with baby new potatoes and seasonal vegetables and I opted for the Lasagna and I ordered a side order of Skin on fries, My Wife really enjoyed her rack of Lamb baby potatoes and her vegetables and I really enjoyed my Lasagna which was fresh, homemade and the herbs really complimented the meat and the sauce and I cleaned my plate. Again the service was absolutely 5, The food, The drink, the setting and the whole experience was fantastic we highly recommend La Roma Italian restaurant. 5 5 5 5 I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 32,000,000+ views on Google alone. I have reviewed everything from Restaurants to bars to beaches to beach clubs to taxis to airports to flights to beauty treatments to Barbers to hotels to Churches to Basilica to shooting ranges to hair dressers etc. From Manchester to Split(Croatia), Hvar(Croatia), Supetar(Brac, Croatia),Rome(Italy), Vatican(Italy), Bezier Cap d'Agde(South of France), Montpellier(South of France), Podgorica(Montenegro), Budva(Montenegro), Tirana(Albania), Sarande(Albania), Ksamil(Albania), Krakow(Poland), Zakopane(Poland) and Sal(Cape Verde etc.

What a delight! my second visit to this beautiful hidden gem. The service was extremely friendly and very polite. The food was absolutely amazing. Goats chesse risotto wow, wow wow. My taste buds are still tingling. Can't wait to return with family and friends

Absolutely perfect spot. Food was just amazing quality and definitely freshly made! At some point we were struggling to get attention from the service staff when we wanted to settle the bill, but other than that, no issues. Definitely recommend!

We were a party of 10 on an early Saturday night the biggest compliment of the night would have to go to the staff they were everything I would expect and a lot more credit were credits due and this is was on a night when the place is full , it was a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere the restaurant was lovely. I would say the best looking dish on the night would have to go to the veal , I understand abit how restaurant's work we had our table for either 1 and a half hours or two hours which in my opinion was plenty of time for starters , main , dessert coffee tea , a birthday cake , and drinks for the boozers , if I had to be critical of anything for the owners to look how they could improve I could really only say the male toilets could do with an update. On some of other people's reviews staff have taken some criticism but for our party's experience they were 100% on there game. La Roma Thank you for a lovely evening

Excellent food and very good value with special offers at certain times,very clean and nice tables and chairs,the area is lovely with a bridge and a river outside,must place to visit.

Visited 15/11/25 A nice meal out at mid-day. Honestly compared to the last one we went to, this was so much better. Omg the lady at the bar when we went in was in such a chipper mood it brightened up my day. Let's start with the setting; it was brilliant. Beautiful decoration and the place was very spacious. For starters I got the meatballs which were chefs kiss. Drinks were fresh and cold too. Since this is an Italian restaurant, the obvious choice was pizza. Just the best pizza (or one of the best ones) I've ever had. It was just so warm and welcoming here. If I had to go again, I'm going straight there.
